For the Week of November 3, 2008 to November 7, 2008

Math: All groups will begin working with fractions after their Investigations 1, section 2 quiz on 11/3.

Reading: Blue and red groups will begin reading Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell. White group will begin The Wish Giver by Bill Brittain.

English: All groups will continue with Unit 2 Nouns, lessons 7-10 in their textbooks. Quiz either Thursday or Friday.

Spelling: Unit 10, follow weekly schedule.

Science: We will continue with chapter 1, lesson 3 - Body Systems. We will have a vocabulary quiz on Friday, Nov. 7th.

Social Studies: Woodland and Plains Indians. Quiz on Friday, Nov. 7th.

Special Announcements: Coference slips will be sent home on Monday, Nov. 3rd. Confirmation is due Monday, Nov. 10th. Kettle Creek field trip November 12th. Dress accordingly!
